i’ve been offline for a while taking my (idek) semi-annual unintentional social media break and in that time i’ve been resetting, plotting, scheming, and writing. but i’m back and on Wednesday, TEMPLE posts officially begin again!
all of the details of that are in the video up above, but in case you’re not really a video person (or just can’t watch bc you’re at work or something) here’s a quick summary for you:
TEMPLE Vol. II starts Wednesday, and this year the theme is Reincarnation (aka cover songs)
i’ve been busy writing my first large batch of songs since about 2019, and i’m not ready to share more details on that yet, but they’ve got a vibe to them…that’s all i’m going to say
SANCTUARY and TEMPLE have been merged (kind of). i decided to really take full advantage of what i’ve been building here on substack and make into a living ecosystem of all things HVXLII. instead of a dedicated section for SANCTUARY posts, they’ll be mixed in with the free posts, and that’s lets me expand the types of things i share on here with as little friction as possible
there are new areas to explore:
Music — old releases from the vault, one off covers, demos, remixes, experiments, jams, and literally any other music stuff i can possibly think of
Journal — voice notes, photos, long and short form writing, poetry, and videos. y’know, the things you’d expect to find in a digital journal
Updates — the spot to find all the news about changes to TEMPLE (like this post for example 👀), album announcements, tour dates, and other big news and stuff
Leaderboard — referrals are up and running, so if you’ve got friends you think would be interested in what’s happening here and you get them to signup with your referral link you can earn up to 6 months of SANCTUARY on me
